Cast bronze bushing size chart (mm) with order codes
The metric standard series for machined cast bronze bushings: 46 bores from Ø6 to Ø200 mm with three walls and three lengths each (ISO 4379 Type C), the same bores with thin and heavy flanges (Type F), and a thrust washer series for Ø12 – 200 mm shafts. Every row gives the order code, the weight in C93200 and a link to ask for a quote; the same sizes are machined in eleven other alloys. Not the reloading kind of bushing – these are plain bearings for machinery.
Bushing sizes are written bore × outside diameter × length (d × D × L); flanged bushings add flange diameter × flange thickness (F × t); washers are bore × outside diameter × thickness (d × D × s). ISO 4379 is the international series for copper-alloy bushes and the successor of DIN 1850; there is no proprietary Slidura series, so a size found here can be second-sourced anywhere ISO 4379 is used.
- Delivered tolerances (ISO 4379 Table 3): bore E6, outside s6 to Ø120 / r6 above, flange Ø d11, length h13
- Fits: housing H7; shaft e7 general, e8 heavy or dirty, g7 precision – the bore lands at about H8 after pressing
- Chamfers 45° outside and 15° inside, sizes per ISO 4379 (0.3 – 2 mm)
- Weight column: C93200 at 8.93 g/cm³; aluminium bronze is about 16 % lighter, SAE 67 4 % heavier
- Anything not listed – Ø3 to Ø1000 mm, inch sizes, other walls – is machined to drawing at the same lead time

No ISO 4379 size with this bore – send us the dimensions, we machine it to drawing.
Bore in parentheses in ISO 4379: for special applications only.
Weight per piece in kg, plain part in C93200 (8.93 g/cm³); aluminium bronze is about 16 % lighter, SAE 67 about 4 % heavier.
Chamfer c (45°) and c₂ (15°) max. by bore: 0.3 / 1 mm to Ø10, 0.5 / 2 to Ø30, 0.8 / 3 to Ø60, 1 / 4 to Ø120, 2 / 5 above.
Flanged bushings – ISO 4379 Type F
Two flange series per bore: Series 1 with a thin flange for location, Series 2 with a heavy flange for axial load; each has its own outside diameter D, flange diameter F and flange thickness t. Lengths L include the flange. The order code carries d, D and L – F and t follow from the series: 660F-253230 = Series 2 for Ø25, 660F-252830 = Series 1.

Thrust washers – Slidura series (proposal)
Ordered by shaft size: 660W-25 is the C93200 washer for a Ø25 shaft, bore 25.5 × Ø42 × 3 mm. Bore = shaft + 0.5 mm to Ø50 and + 1 mm above; thickness 2 – 12 mm. ISO 4379 has no washer series – this table is our proposal, proportioned like the washers used with the ISO sleeve sizes, and any other d × D × s is made to drawing.

Tolerances (ISO 4379 Table 3, ISO 286-2 deviations)
Deviations in µm for the bush as delivered and for the mating parts. The bore is toleranced E6 before fitting so that, pressed into an H7 housing, it closes to roughly H8; the shaft tolerance then sets the running clearance.
| Feature | Tolerance | Applies to |
|---|---|---|
| Bore d | E6 | as delivered (≈ H8 after pressing into H7) |
| Outside Ø D | s6 to Ø120 · r6 above | press fit in H7 housing |
| Flange Ø F | d11 | clearance in the housing counterbore |

Bores finished after fitting, or other tolerance classes, are machined to drawing.

Press fit and running clearance by bore
Calculated from the deviations above: the interference of an s6 / r6 bush in an H7 housing, and the clearance of a bore at about H8 after pressing against an e7 shaft. Use the design guide for e8 / g7 shafts, thin walls and hot positions.

µm. Thin-wall bushes pass nearly the whole interference on to the bore; thick walls less. Measure the bore after fitting on precision positions.
Larger, longer and inch sizes
Above Ø200 mm the ISO series ends but our machining does not: sleeves and flanged bushes to Ø1000 mm are made from centrifugally cast tube to drawing, with the outside to r6 for a shrink fit or to a slide fit with a keeper, and the bore finished in place if you prefer. Lengths beyond the table are cut from the same tube. Inch sizes – 1/2" × 5/8" × 3/4" and the like – are machined to drawing with the ISO tolerances translated or with the tolerances you specify; an inch series is planned for a later phase.
Weight and price per kilogram
Bronze is traded by weight and many markets quote bushings per kilogram. The weight column gives the finished-part weight in C93200 (8.93 g/cm³) from d, D and L; multiply by 0.83 for aluminium bronze (7.45 – 7.53 g/cm³), 0.87 for C86300 (7.8), 0.97 for CuSn12 (8.7) and 1.04 for SAE 67 (9.25). The bar or tube the bush is cut from weighs 1.3 – 2 times more, which is why a thin-wall bush costs more per kilogram of finished part than a thick one.
Frequently asked questions
How do I find the size of a bronze bushing?
Measure the bore at the unworn end (or take the shaft diameter plus the clearance you want), the outside diameter (or the housing bore – it is the same nominal size), the overall length and, for a flanged bush, the flange diameter and thickness. Round to the nearest row in the table; if nothing matches, send the numbers – we machine to them.
Are these sizes in stock?
We do not keep finished bushes on the shelf; every size is machined per order from continuous-cast tube, and C93200 tube is the most readily available. Samples in 3 – 5 days, batches per the quotation. Other alloys are bought as bar or tube per order.
Is the chart ISO 4379 or DIN 1850?
ISO 4379 – which replaced DIN 1850-2 / -3 with the same dimension logic (three walls per bore, two flange series). A DIN 1850 size will be found here; a few walls and lengths differ, so compare the row.
What tolerance is the bore delivered to?
E6 per ISO 4379. Pressed into an H7 housing it closes to about H8, which with an e7 shaft gives the running clearance cast bronze needs. Order the bore for finishing in place if several bushes must be aligned or a closer fit is required.
Can I get a different wall or length?
Yes – any d × D × L from Ø3 to Ø1000 mm is machined to drawing at the same lead time, because every bush is turned from tube or bar. The order code is then written with your dimensions.
Do you have an inch size chart?
Not yet – inch sizes are machined to drawing (give ID × OD × length and tolerances). An inch series is planned for a later phase; tell us which sizes you use and they will be in it.

Click a length in the tables or write the order codes into the form. Not in the table? Send d × D × L – no minimum quantity, samples in 3 – 5 days.
